Use the Quiz and Article to extend your knowledge of the Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Procedure
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the minimally invasive surgical procedure for removal of the gallbladder. The first laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed in Germany in 1985. Since that time, it has become the procedure of choice for gallbladder removal amongst surgeons and patients. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy has been shown to decrease hospital length of stay, decrease patient pain, and decrease visible surgical scars as compared to the open approach.
I like this ! I tried to check laparoscopic cholecystectomy first befor my son’s gall bladder removal! Easily understood the procedure!
This video was extremely well done. This helped to fully cover all aspects of the surgery. As I watched this before and after my recent surgery, I truly appreciate it! Thank you so much for making.
I can’t tell if I feel better or worse about my pending cholecystectomy but I’m grateful this information is available, thanks for posting! Extremely well done video.
thank you so much about this great video, but now I am worried about my case especially that i get gallbladder surgery (laparoscopic method) before 10 days, how can I know that my surgery was success or not?
Thanks again.

Hi Emad
Bravo for watching before your surgery. It will be good that you have informed yourself. The reality is that your surgeon should tell you about the surgery but if you are informed and ask good questions they are more likely to give you more answers knowing that you are an informed patient. Hope it all went well.
