Cardiac Pathology: Ischemic Heart Disease

This lab will follow the progression of a myocardial infarction using gross and microscopic specimens through a period of 20 days. We will study the complications of MI, thrombus and ventricular aneurysm, and finally appreciate a specimen which has healed from the disease.
